Ripped on someone’s house? Maybe I haven’t been listening to EnglishPod101.com closely enough… is “to rip on” the same as “to invite”?

Maxiewawa, “to rip on something” means “to make fun of something” or “to talk trash about something.”

Her Kanji is 紘子. (=genuine child???)
KORODA KURUMI will appear later this series again, so you’ll have a chance to hear 紘子’s voice again.
I went to see a Japaneses drum concert the other day. Japanese Drum is called 和太鼓（わだいこ/wadaiko)
I think
和太鼓 は かっこよくて おもしろいです。
Wadaiko wa kakkoyokute omoshiroi desu.

In the vocab section the romaji of shigoto is written as sigoto.

“House” versus “Home”. I’d always thought that “house” implies just the building where you happen to live. “Home” is much more warm and fuzzy and conjures up the idea of love and the people who also live there, as well as the feelings of belonging and being comfortable!
