Mina-san, if you were a kiosk clerk and a samurai like Kuranosuke wanted to buy something, would you sell it to him or ask him to leave?

Hey, um… is it just me, or are the PDF’s broken?
Still: another great lesson. ^^

Kare,
PDFs are working for me.

This lesson will be very helpful. Thanks
Saturday at 8:13 pm
Yeah, now the PDF’s are working here too. ^^

I don’t think refusing to sell to a samurai is a very safe idea… besides he sounded quite polite
Those kiosks are really useful though, and I’m always amazed they manage to pack so many things in so small a space…
On (yet another) technical side (I’m really sorry, I hate to point those out) : the PDFs work fine, but the video vocab is missing, and I still can’t get any audio files from last weeks Premium Lesson through the premium iTunes feed (only the PDFs and video vocab).
Jpod has turned me into a tech-junkie with all the great lessons, reviews, videos, etc… , and now missing even one is a catastrope !!! LOL !

yeah recently we’ve had some delays in getting the video vocab uploaded, it should be available soon. i’ll be sure to post when the link is good. sorry for the inconvenience.
as for last week’s premium lesson not showing up in iTunes, it’s strange, some people got it, others didn’t (including me). we’re still looking into why this happened and how to prevent it in the future.

Is the あと used here the same as this( 後)?
Sunday at 4:04 am
Yes, I think so.
But when used as a connector (”after that”) i think people write it in hiragana.

大阪では、人々はあまり「すまへん」とかを使わないんですよ。それは京都の方が言われていると思います。もう3年大阪に住んで、「すまへん」や「すみまへん」一度も聞いたことはありません。
Sunday at 10:50 pm
あれ?
誰が「すまへん」か「すまへん」言ったんですか?このレッスンはそういう言葉出てこないでしょう?
Monday at 5:49 pm
Rhy-さん
あと(ato) is often used for adding more information.
ex) チョコレートとアイスクリームが好きです。あと、ケーキも好きです。
Chokore^to to aisukuri^mu ga suki desu. Ato, ke^ki mo suki desu.
スタジオには、ピーターとマーキーがいました。あと、サクラもいました。
Sutajio niwa pi^ta^ to ma^ki ga imashita. Ato, sakura mo imashita.
