I couldn't stop laughing about yubikiri. This is what my wife says to me when I promise her we'll do something special that she's looking forward to. So while I understood the general meaning of the saying this certainly clears things up for me. Anyway, great job guys, this is certainly the 'real deal' when it comes to the Japanese language and something we're not likely to learn in any textbook! Hi Guys,

How can Tom Cruise play a samurai with no topknot and that beard? I don't know how people still take him seriously after all that ridiculous Scientology stuff anyway. L. Although he was the "last samurai" and all... or maybe his "inner alien" spent some time in Japan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenu who would have thought Tom Cruise’s Japanese was so good?
