My parents go to Gangwha island in West sea of Korea and bring some Unagis from time to time. How they are delicious! Specially their river-Unagis.... mmmm yummy Sorry, I'm a little bit excited.. I think they have to watch out Kroeans, too! lol But these unakitch and unatsuke, they are so innocent and cute. I won't eat them even they are served on my plate. I swear! (I hope they're not finished by getting caught!) You don’t know how much I like Unagis…

I used to live in Ibaraki and if the Unagi make there way up to Ushiku (Southern Ibaraki) watch out! As I remember there were a number of restaurants that would welcome them gladly as visitors but serve them up to others:sad: I agree with Peter here Ibaraki is the best Prefecture in all Japan. It has Kairakuen in Mito, The Tallest Statue in the world in Ushiku, Science City in Tsukuba (best laid out town in all of Japan), The Waterfalls in Daigo, The beaches of Hitachi, Two soccer teams (one great in Kashima the other not so great in Mito), The Mountains to the West, Pottery in Kasama, and the friendliest people. So if you haven't been (to adopt the Australian Tourism slogan) ''What the bloody hell are you waiting for'?'' Peter you must be able to do at least one Japanese culture class on Ibaraki and Ibaraki-ben. I am worried for our Unagi friends.
