Man, I love the 新潟弁 lessons. Do you have any plans to do any other dialects? I'm sure there are plenty of people who want to know 大阪/関西弁. 鹿児島弁もワッゼ面白いよ！

This time I understood all the conversation.
Perhaps because I spent a few days in Himi. Is it the same dialect?

I didn't understand a single thing...apart from thair having to go back to some place.
It feels slightly weird knowing you're listening to japanese but not getting a single word... I love the sounds in this dialect.

I think なにね is pretty cool ! This is one word I'm bound to use and abuse :mrgreen:

Mina-san, how much of it could you catch? Can you hear the intonation differences? If you're interested in this dialect, we highly recommend trying out the Line By Line Audio in the Learning Center. You'll astound your Japanese friends if you can get this intonation down pat.
