Mina-san, Fabrizio isn’t feeling very well so his voice sounds a little strange in this lesson. When he’s feeling better, we’ll update these audio files!
So THAT’s what happens to Fabrizio if he can’t get his Bourgogne wine… Interesting…
Hmm… What about the intro track ?…
only listened to the dialogue and was quite relived to not hear fabrizo’s voice!
Hmmm. Seemingly more waiters than chairs. Is this restaurant just a front for something else? Are these waiters still in possession of all their pinkies? Maybe Fabrizio now has something else to count . . .
No need to update his voice…just let be. You all can come out with a lesson that he is sick with his sick voice.
Fabrizio is practicing his tough guy voice from watching all the gangster movies maybe
The position of the counter changes the meaning of the sentence doesn’t it?
ウェーターが4人ある。There are four (random) waiters.
4人のウェーターがある。There are *the* four waiters (that I mentioned before/have some sort of significance as a group).
He does sound a bit too flamboyant to be sober usually, maybe Minami should try buying him a beer before he starts counting the grains in her rice balls
I agree with Bob1-san…
This restaurant is too suspicious. Maybe it’s just the front for a yakuza’s headquarter.
Let’s wait and see…
I think this lesson is funny, but surely it’s a strange resaurant. And why Minami-san wants that Fabrizio-san shut ups, may be Minami-san knows more what we can imagine… don’t you think?
I can’t seem to figure out how to download the intro from my I tunes! Does any one know?
For the voice (and the counting) I tought at first it was because Fabrisio was drunk. But hey, maybe this is a Yakuza base.
Who knows, after all… this is Japan!

You are right! Great explanation! Thanks.
Actually, the stereotype of Ramen place owners are tough looking and look like Yakuza members.
