Mina-san, this guy is asking for a lot. Do you think he’ll be able to get everything he wants for a good price?

I think there might be a technical issue with today’s video vocab. Its not playing and the download was really strange.

miethさん、thanks for the heads up!
i just checked the link and it’s correct, and Word Press recognizes it.
but when i try to download from here i have the same problem as you. so it’s something beyond my control, so i’ll let the tech-team know!

今日のレッスンの単語は難しかったですよね!でもバイト敬語のトッピクは実に面白いです。日本人にとって敬語と尊敬語を正しく使うのが難しいでしょう? I saw some keigo and sonkeigo tests on web sites such as jiji.com…

Is 機材”kyouzai” as is given in the hiragana and romaji or is it “kizai” as is listed in the vocab?

The less English used in a lesson, the more my Japanese side of my brain is able to wake up and my English brain can be suppressed. Some English is of course necessary, but I enjoy these lessons with as little English explanation as possible. Onegai moshiagemasu.

Is it just me, or is it kind of funny having such a serious business conversation on JapanesePod? I keep on thinking, the punchline is coming soon. LOL.

初めてjPodに来てから、出版の時間によって、レッソンを聞く。
(When I first came to jPod, I started listening lessons according to the time they were published.)
Is that right?

Neilさん、そしてみなさん、ごめんなさい。
It’s supposed to be “kizai”. Kyouzai means lesson material. We’ll fix it as soon as possible.

公開される時間にあわせて、レッスンを聞き始めた。
の方がいいと思いますよ。
We use 出版 usually for books and magazines.
