Unagi-san
どの文章も正しいと思いますし、意味も基本的には一緒だと思います。
●　Transitive VS intransitive
「入った」を使っても「入れた」を使っても、言い方が違うだけで、意味は変わりません。
●　入っている ve 入った ・ 入れた ve 入れてある
説明文などの書き言葉では シンプルな　「入った」や「入れた」が好まれると思います、
話し言葉やカジュアルな書き言葉では、「入っている」や「入れてある」も使われます。
●Passive
文法的には使うことが出来ます。でも、不自然な感じはします。
無生物（non-living item)が主語のPassive の文章は、英語に影響を受けてそういう言い方をするようになりましたが、もともとの日本語にはない表現なので、使う際には気をつけてください。（使ってはいけないということではないですが、使いすぎないように気をつけてください）

I was listening to this audioblog lesson today and a couple of questions struck me.

Is there any difference in meaning between these two relative-clauses depending on whether you use the transitive or the intransitive?

七草粥は七種類の草が入ったお粥です。
お汁粉というのは小豆を砂糖で甘く煮たものの中に餅を入れたものです。

And what would be the difference between the two sentences above and their corresponding

And also, could a passive verb be used here instead?

I'd be grateful if someone could give me an answer on that.

I know how you feel Miki I too put on weight over New Year's.

I love learning about Japanese superstitions and now I have another one. Problem is one goes in and another drifts off into the recesses of my mind.

auspicious is a great word!! it comes from the Latin words avis (bird) and spex (watching). the augurs (a kind of fortune teller/soothsayer) in ancient Rome would watch the flight patterns of birds to predict the future or determine what days were lucky (auspicious) for certain occasions or which were unlucky (inauspicious) for certain occasions.

just an upcoming tidbit from LatinPod101.com

Ah yes, auspicious. It's come to mean "lucky", but only when referring to Asia (usually East Asia), and only when referring to superstitious areas.

You can't say "I was late, but the bus driver drove extra quick, I'm was so auspicious".

But you can say "I chose my Chinese name as an auspicious combination of three characters".

"Inauspicious" is the opposite of "auspicious".

"Inauspicious"? Whoo - now I must learn English to understand my Japanese. Just "bad luck" is sufficient for we simple folk.

An auspicious contempory terrestial orbital reoccurance to all!
