Mina-san, has Agnes’ dark time passed? She was having such a hard time lately. I’m just glad that sketchy Yūsuke guy didn’t keep bothering her on the phone again. 怪しいなぁ！

Does ~ppoi always have a negative meaning? How about ~rashii, does it always carry a positive meaning?

Recently the Agnes stories are getting really dark. 
I something bad to happen to hear again.
Or at least I thought she was going to freak out again and slam the phone down. But today was a normal story.

I’m sure I say this every time, but 的 is the possessive marker in Chinese, the equivalent of the Japanese の. Something that has become kinda trendy in some Chinese street signs is replacing the Chinese 的 with the Japanese の.

Haha! That’s interesting! It’s always so chic to use signs in another language, isn’t it? And, usually they make mistakes so it can be hilarious! I have seen examples of attempts at making English or French signs in Japan — totally funny!

You both would probably like both Engrish.com and HanziSmatter.com. Both show comedic mess-ups that occour when attempting to use language/writing of another culture.
