You are right that in the case of your sample sentence 分かってりゃ is a construction of 分かっていれば.  ～ていれば is often constructed to ～てれば in daily conversation, and sometimes to  ～てりゃ, which is very casual and mainly used by men.  
れば is constructed to りゃ, so it doesn't matter whether it's after て or not, as in the example below.
もっと　かっこよければ ⇒ もっと　かっこよけりゃ
