Mina-san, what kind of music do you listen to?

avatar maxiewawa says:

We haven’t had the benefit of JPod’s zany intros at KoreanClass101.com, so my girlfriend 愛香 and I made this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKzXg9vlNOU

I’ve put a transcript at the youtube site!

Anyone interested in doing the reverse version let me know! (By “reverse version”, I mean that the first 2 lines would be in Japanese, and the remainder would be in Korean, instead of the other way ’round)

Also, I’m hoping to do other language versions, so let me know if you want to participate!

She has a typical Australian accent in some of her words.

avatar maxiewawa says:

Oops, the “reverse version” would have the first lines being a Japanese person stumbling through Korean, then being confronted by a fluent Japanese speaking waiter. I got it back to front!

If you’re interested in being that waiter, let me know! I’ll be the Japanese tourist stumbling through Portuguese/Spanish/Swedish/whatever. Or the other way around would b fine too! (I just want to try out my Portuguese/Spanish/Swedish!)

avatar Hyunwoo(ヒョヌ) says:

Haha I’m interested in being the waitor :D

Excellent project, Max. :D

avatar Hyunwoo(ヒョヌ) says:

avatar //digitaljo says:

(How do you write Nishimoto in Kanji?)

avatar Liz21 says:

I really like the kanji for “ongaku”, too. “Enjoy the sound” means “music”. I love all kinds of music!! Check out my blog: http://www.liz21blog.blogspot.com I like hard rock, classical and everything in between!

It was fun hearing the iPod bit today because —what a common situation (at least at my house) where you have to repeat because someone is listening with earphones, hahaha!

Hey, Max! Another great project!!

avatar Yuki says:

max-san

//digitaljo

avatar maxiewawa says:

Bob Marley except a little faster.

avatar //digitaljo says:

My tastes in music are quite varied. Time to dig out Trans Siberian Orchestra.

avatar markystar says:

i listen to all sorts of things.

r&b, hip-hop, house, acid, techno, hip-house, tech-house, 80’s, 90’s…
but for j-pop, i only listen to koda kumi and perfume….

oh, i also listen to 太郎君’s street musician band! :kokoro:

avatar Scott Curry says:

It’s great to be back here! My Japanese has weakened a little while I was gone, so I will study even harder than usual to catch up.

I listen to my iPod everyday at work, I turn it up so loud that I can’t hear anyone when they need to talk to me. They usually shoot a rubberband at my head to get my attention

スカット

avatar Carl says:

To answer the question…rap music…Christian rap music. Rap music without the negative stuff.

My question: Who’s the artist playing in the background? The music sounds good.

avatar Tyler says:

One of the tags says “topic parking marticle”

but keep up the good work, we appreciate it!

avatar Scott Curry says:

Oops. I spelled 忙しい wrong in my last post. I need to really improve my Japanese proof-reading

avatar Ian says:

ahh, i recognized the music in the beginning.
Koda Kumi!
this was a good lesson on how to ask your friends if they had plans.
