Miki-san!
Please don´t keep a monkey
I am not a fan of zoos, ideally wild animals should stay in the wild and not in cages, although I realize I am a dreamer

I’ve been once to Ueno zoo, and it’s a fine zoo.
I’m living now in Tokuyama, Shunan-City (Yamagushi prefecture), and there is also a small zoo in Tokuyama…

Mikisan, thank you for your blogs.
I once went to Ueno Zoo, it was great!
My hometown (USA) San Diego, California, also has a great zoo.
But, I live in the state of Ohio, now. My house sometimes seems like a zoo.
It’s difficult to grow a garden. Squirrels, deer, skunks, hedgehogs, birds, and bunnies eat my garden. Cute. They come in the middle of the night, I never see them!

>Carlo
>Abrassart さん

>Steve

My earlier reply was a day before I did a trip to Japan. I just got back from
Sapporo, Hiroshima and many points in between (6000 km, 10 cities, 14 days). One of those points was the 動物園 at Asahiyama. It’s great! I impressed my wife with some of the animals I learned from this lesson! かば for one! She still has problems with rhinoceros (犀=さい). It’s one word that is easier in Japanese than English! I would have visited Japanesepod101, but 時間がありませんでした! Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!
