Mina-san, so what do you think? We very excited about this! Woot! Woot!
Have a great weekend!
Welcome back Chigusa-san!
Look forward to Korean. Very, very nice, ne
Sorry, one question: I cannot find Miki´s Blog in the store although you mentioned it is available. Could you help me out? I wanted to check the price!
Thanks!
hello japanesepod101.com im 15 and i want to teach korean but i live in australia i wanna work ^^t jpnese pod 101.com if interseted the Email (will not be published prt dere is my email
Whoa, Chigusa’s voice isn’t one I expected to hear again. All you need to do now is win back the Nagasaki connection
The Day in the Life package sounds interesting. Perhaps a little above my current level, but if the key grammar and vocabulary are covered in the PDF, I could learn a lot from it, as well as reviewing a lot of stuff.
Looking forward to the Sights and Sounds as well. Hopefully some of the sights include Sakura
Ohisashiburi desu ne Chigusa-san… i miss your voice and i miss you of course
…
。。 (My imagination and the real thing might be different)
CHIGUSA WE LOVE YOU! *imagine alot of fans screaming outside the studio*
Finally some jpod news! And learning Korean
I wanna do that!
I’d definately buy a signed photo of Chigusa
Peter, don’t worry, I’d buy your autograph too.
PS. You should snatch Yoshi back too and finish iLove! We can’t leave it hanging.
Oh dear. Once again we seem to have a week without an Intermediate lesson.
bshock-san
I agree. Also, I haven’t seen anything on Saturday in a while. I think they should bring back 土曜日のニュース, and stop taking up the regular lesson time for it, or even better have lessons 7 days a week, instead of the current 6.
I love your work, and please keep it up ねぇ~
Using the things from the lessons, I had shocked my friends and family (I am 1/4 Japanese). It is a great feeling to see that shock in their faces. I just couldn’t thank you guys enough. You guys make life 「朝飯前」.
With this Podcast, I am learning Japanese like NEVER before. I listen to you guys whenever and wherever I can. This really drill the stuff into my head. (Much better than school lessons—DON’T tell my teacher that!

Where can I find the video tutorials Peter-san talked about?
I’m already using the fantastic Rikaichan, but I want to check out the search engine Peter-san mentioned.

I would like to ask why all the lessons are not in the feed now. It is really annoying not having all that in the feed. PLease put it back!!!!
Mina-san,
Thanks for all the fabulous feedback, ongoing support, and for welcoming back Chigusa-san!
We are putting the finishing touches on “A Day in the Life of a University Student” starring Miki-san. This premium course, which is sure to be a hit, is going to be available in our store in the next few days.
The Rikaichan video tutorial mentioned in the podcast, can be found in the last newscast (News #45). We’ve also added it to our the Video User Guides section of our Help Center.
Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!
Mina-sama, o-matase shimashita! A Day in the Life - University Student has been added to the store.

Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!
The 25 % off is only for students enrolled at Japanese courses? Pleeeze, I need this discount if I am to afford a premium subscription…
It seems great: survival phrases in many languages, Miki’s ‘A day in the life of a university student’, etc…
However, as already mentioned by bschock and Chris, there are also some minor points:
no intermediate lesson this week, the last culture class was on June 1st and for all the new stuff you have to pay, even with a premium subscription!
Hello all, it seems like I’m totally lost what’s going on with jppod. Recently I’ve been in Korea taking some time off from work and study….now it’s time to go back to US and catch all them up.
I did one good thing here, I was able to meet Korean community who listens jppod, so I met couple of them. Can’t wait to share with you guys….we talked about Peter-san alot, lol.
Ididn’t have a chance to visit jppod, hope i will meet them one day as well.
See you guys in US soon, and keep it up jppod!!!
to address a few things…
according to the info in the podcast, you don’t have to be enrolled in japanese classes, just a student!
as for culture classes, there’s one in the works as you read this! give us a little more time, we have something fun planned.
also, there is some premium material coming around the corner for those with premium subscriptions. sights&sounds that peter mentioned will be just that!
vickyちゃん、nice to hear from you earlier today♪

Sorry for taking so long to write, but I am always a little bit behind schedule on my Japanese lessons.
I am so happy that Chigusa-san is back! Welcome back, Chigusa!!! It’s so nice to see you are doing fine!!!
Sindy-san, that’s it. You really should motivate people to study your language. I love Spanish too… I studied the one spoken in Spain, but as a Brazilian and due to proximity to Argentina my Spanish has become a bit more Argentinian than Spanish
And for everybody out there: Try Portuguese too!!! It’s such an amazing language as well
Actually, I recommend Brazilian Portuguese!
Great news again!! Ganbatte ne!!!
Wow. Great news. I’m so happy to hear that you are launching a Korean langauge podcast. I’m sure I’ll be literally visiting the forum there everyday once it opens up.
I believe in the ways that Japanesepod101.com teaches Japanese and inspires a lot people to learn Japanese and know more about the Japanese culturea, so I’m sure a lot of people out there who are already or beginning to be interested in Korea will love the new show as well.
And of course I’m sure Keith san will do a great job as a host!!
And Welcome back Chigusa san

Hmm, teaching Arabic might be a bit evasive. Almost everyone teaches Classical Arabic. In real life, however, you won’t find many native speakers who speak in classical (everyone would just speak the local variety). And people might actually find it a bit funny and possibly decline to reply. An exception to that would be in countries like Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.
Musouka-san,
That’s true… Arabic depends on the country, but anyway it’s good a try. In my opinion Gulf Arabic would be really really nice!
Let’s see what is coming next! I’m looking forward to it!!!
Wow, welcome back, Chigusa-san! It was so much fun, being at work and listening to JPod, and then out of the blue…
Welcome back Chigusa-san!
I miss you much and so nice to hear your voice again!
João Paulo -san!
Sorry for the late reply but my computer was infected by virus again and I had to wait for two weeks for my computer to comeback.
Now thank you for your comment yes I really appreciated it and really happy that people get interest in learning Spanish.
I agree with you I will try to learn Brazilian Portuguese! and not the one from Portugal!
Finally I think the Argentina Spanish is good specially from the soccer player Messi ahhh he is great!!

Ow, I just started to listen japanese101 from newbie lesson 1. I’m now on lesson 6, but I already realized that Chigusa-san vanished from there. I got so sad ![]()
I’m so fan of Chigusa-san. You are the best, Chigusa-san!!!
