When I read your explanation, I remembered the expression "手に取るようにわかる" which means "to understand very clearly." I guess your translation might be "アグネス君は藤本社長の気持ちが手に取るようにわかる." Clay-san,

Actually, “アグネス君は藤本社長を本みたいに読める” is my transliteration of the English expression “Agnes can read president Fujimoto like a book”. When Agnes can read Fujimoto “like a book” it indicates that she understands him very well. Agnes quickly understood how to take advantage of Fujimoto’s “uniqueness”. Agnes immediately complemented him with words like 素敵and 美味しい. She used her ability to “read him like a book’ to quickly get the job. Perhaps the transliteration does not work well in Japanese. What do you think? Clay Thank you Mayumi san.

Do you mean "Agnes can understand well how President Fujimoto is feeling" by "アグネス君は藤本社長を本みたいに読める" ? Clay-san,

Does she mean '辺?' I heard it in a lesson the other day, and I haven't heard it before.
