I like the old versions of the mukashi banashi where they were done exactly like the intermediate lessons -- they had grammar points, key vocab, etc. I find on the mukashi banashi, if I want to learn the vocab, I have to pause/replay the parts, then look for the definition in wwwjdic. here’s a picture of hakone mountain, which i had never heard of before. i mean, i know it’s a mountainous region, but i didn’t know of a place called hakone mountain.
