Mina-san, we hope you are all having an exciting weekend. Are you ready for another round of Aomori-ben? Now you can learn more greetings! See if you can leave Marky and Nozomi a message using some of your new vocab and phrases! Keppare!

I found the pace of the podcast a little difficult to keep up with. You seemed to be shooting through the dialogue analysis.

どしちゃー?
I enjoyed it, although being in Aomori -ben makes it 10 times harder than a normal podcast. Without the PDF I would have been lost completely. It almost sounds like a whole different language?
へば、まんず

Wow, it’s like another language. So many contractions. Lots of fun.
I need to go over the pdf again…

Max-san,
sorry about the pacing. But thanks for the input! I’m still learning the ropes, so to speak. Hope the next one is easier to keep up with!

NickT-san,
some of my friends say they can follow the conversations in context, others say they can only catch about 50%. it’s a really wild dialect, huh?
Alan-san,
the PDF is literally PACKED with info. the first Aomori-ben lesson was also. there’s a lot of detailed explanations that, unfortunately, we didn’t have time for in the podcast itself.
皆さん、けっぱって!
へば、まんず!

Very very interesting!
I can’t wait for the Kansaiben lessons!

Alainさん、
believe me, that’s a high priority for me!

kansai-ben is probably the most important dialect to cover, since we can hear it on TV every day.
if there’s interest, i’d like to cover many dialects!

興味があります!日本語の色々な方言はとても面白いです。

I’m really enjoying the podcasts on aomori-ben though I would feel less guilty if I had any fluency in good old Tokyo Nihongo first. If nothing else it is providing an opportunity to recognize it if I hear it, though I won’t know what they say….but just to recognize it would be an accomplishment. Please keep it up….

ずずべんのPodcasts 大好きですよ. ずずべんDialectがたのしくておもしろいですね。ちょっとわかりています。おかげさまでMarkyとNogomi この会話はむずかしくないです。ありがとうございました!

Marky, you’re gonna hate me as i feel like i just point out the mistakes in the pdf so i’ll tell this again. THANK YOU for the aomoriben lessons. Those are the best.
in the 探してけら section, there’s a typing mistake : sasgasu instead of sagasu (ok i’m picky
)
In the どすべ section, your wrote 行ぐべ and いくべ . That got be confused. For what i understood so far i think the correct form would be 行ぐべ = いぐべ . Right?
Sunday at 3:25 pm
deedoさん、
hahahahaha, no, i’m not gonna hate you for pointing out mistakes. on the contrary, i want to fix them. so i appreciate it!
about 探してけら, yes, you’re right. this is a typo. i’ll be sure to fix this on monday!
about 行くべ ,
basically you’re right again.
although, i don’t think it would be a mistake to say いくべ. but for the purpose of this PDF, it should be いくべ。
so, i’ll be sure to fix this one too!
thanx!
marky
