Kon'nichiwa!
That would be 結婚したがる, which means "to want/eager to marry."
Please check out the usage of ～たがる on Beginner Season5 Lesson8.
今日この頃 is a one phrase, which means "in these recent days.." or "now is the time.."

 Hello, I paid for basic and premininm membership about two months ago. I'd been enjoying learning Japanese from the site. But recent two days, I can't go on the site for any lessons. I'm very disappointed. Could you explain the reason, please? Otherwise, I will cancel the membership. Thank you! Wei Lawrence

すごい！yet another interesting twist!! i swear, this story line keeps getting better and better. :) And yeah, maybe Sasaki-san isn't really getting married in Hawaii...she just feels that its now *her* turn to make up the lies!

oh, and just a note to JPod101 staff, in the audio around 2:04, it sounds like one of the lines gets repeated. Also, in the actual audio it looks like 知らせ instead of 宣言　is used (the Line-by-line audio and the vocab list in the iLearningCenter uses 宣言).

Ishihara-san makes me think of a french expression "Trop poli pour etre honnete": too polite for being honest.
Good luck to Sasakisan (but perhaps Sasaki-san is just taking her revenge).
