That would be awesome to be able to have Korean lessons. Now I have three questions:
- When will there be more iLove?
- When will we see Lesson 6 of the Newbie lessons? It isn’t there?
- What is the phrase which is said to make Peter translate the dialogues during lessons?

Thank you!!!

Peterさん、

I can’t believe you think it’s cold. This coming from a professed hockey fan. P’shaw! (I better watch out or I’ll get body-checked into the wall in the elevator at Erklaren  )

Oh, and I have to disagree that お花見 (はなみ) comes earlier each year. This winter has defintely been warmer than most, and さくら is supposed to bloom early (there have been sighting here and there already). However, it seems more like a cycle to me. In fact, one report I read says that this year’s forecast is one week earlier than usual. Not really THAT early.

And while we are on お花見, I would like to recommend カナルカフェ near 飯田橋 (いいだばし) station off the 総武線 (そうぶせん). The さくら trees hover over the canal. The food sucks, and you have to buy something, but the view is worth it.

Peter -
I like how you mentioned it’s great getting togeather with other with other people who speak or are learning to speak another language. I thought I would share a site other listeners may be interested in (especially if looking for others in their area either native speakers, or those learning Japanese is meetup.com. It also has groups for almost every interest. You can search by topic, or city. I found my way back to that site via another site I use to study.

I’m really looking forward to those Korean lessons. It will be awesome to have the languages of two of Asia’s huge culture/entertainment exporters under my belt. I wish you guys good luck in your mission!
