I only have 4 hours of Christmas left. Here's a glimpse of the Christmas excitement at junior high school. A few classrooms drew Christmas-y pictures on their chalkboards with the day's schedule. The lunchtime announcements included a jpop Christmas song, rather than the classroom requests that they've been doing all month. And the student announcer asked everyone if Santa-san had come to their houses last night. Today was a (junior high) 3rd grade lunch day, and only 2 of the 5 kids I was sitting with (both girls) had gotten presents. And santa-san is pretty cheap here- 1 girl got perfume, and the other clothes. My special ed student stayed up waiting for Santa-san, and fell asleep during class. Merry Christmas to everyone!
