今回のブログもとても面白かったですが、本当にわかりにくいと思います。
私も比喩が大好きで、時々ことわざや有名な作家の文など使います。
でも、外国語を習う時、比喩とことわざは一番難しいことだと思います。理由は、そえぞれの外国語を使う時に考え方が別なんでしょう。
美樹さんの書いた比喩は、ちょっと難しくても、私は意味がわかったと思うから、今日も美樹さんのおかげで勉強になりました！

I’m trying to buy a new subscription but it’s not working. I fill out my CC details, and there is a button at the bottom that says ‘pay ($30). Shouldn’t it say ‘pay ($15)’?

Does the 1 year 50% deal add on to the current subscription expiry date, or run from today’s date. My subscription currently expires in January and I’d like to know whether I can take advantage of the 50% deal. Got to go to work now, but it’ll still be before midnight EST when I get back

I am interested in doing the same and I have signed up for another year but then I noticed the small print which says that current subscribers are excluded. Also, my subs end in June so I have a 6 months overlap (and therefore I am also paying 6 months in advance!)

Already sent a separate email but maybe other would benefit from a clarification on whether existing subscribers are included or not.

大男に追いかけられた兎ですか。。。追いかけられたったか。。時には夢は反対なを意味します。

最近、私も冬で日光が短くになるんですからもっと長い時間眠りたい。幸い私は眠りながら掛け声をかけりません。声を呼び出したらちょっと照れ臭い ですよね。

先週の日曜日の午前中疲れすぎて起きてできなかったですから、ベッドに戻りしまった。夢がたくさんを見ましたよ。町の通りがありました。　その通りの両側に沿ってが二階の家がありました。　空が青いと日光はまるで夏ような明るいでした。急に、何か空で見えました。ソニック ザ ヘッジホッグの絵はで通りのうえに飛びました。色はとても鮮やかでした。　何なんだろう。

イギリスの夢の解釈習慣は分りません。　南のイタリアのナポリでよく夢の意味を解釈しています。 ロットの数字は夢のを基準な解釈法があります。　英語と日本語でサイトを見つけられないですけど、それ上にドイツのサイトがあります：

I think her dream means more what I found in my book of dreams and say to her last week by the way, Miki-san have you been very careful?

●「地球を五周半」の意味ですが、
circle the earth five and a half times.です。
それくらい「すごいこと／大変なこと」と言いたかったのですが・・・

●「おスモウ取り」ですが、
「おスモウ」も「お相撲さん」も同じ意味です。「スモウ（相撲）取り」も、同じくsumo wrestlerのことです。

わかってもらえましたか ？

I’m not understanding the usage of くらい in this post. I’m used to it meaning “about” or “almost”.

Don’t understand this one. My guess would be. “For example, how much?”
「それって例えばどれくらい？」

I think I got this one. “About five and a half turns of the earth.”
「えー…。地球を五周半したくらい。」

Shukkai means “encounter” but what does 出会ったくらい mean?
「土星で火星人に出会ったくらい。」

Also, when I hit the space bar after typing the kana shukkai it does not give me the kanji. Is this because this is an uncommon word?

取る　means to take, but what does 取りくらい mean?

●実を言うと私にとって眠れない夜はベレー帽の似合うおスモウ取りくらいに珍しい
のです。
