I was in Toyama the other week; ended up googling for a good place to go have dinner, and came across this website/ thread :) I hopped on a streetcar and went down to check out Chatori Khatori. Awesome food and service, and I told them "Ryan from Canada" said hi- they totally remembered you! I took a pic as well- but i don't have an email to send it too! If by some chance you see this post, let me know so i can forward it along! mmm.. banana chicken curry!! Re: TheBruce/ Ryan; thanks for the tip on the curry house!

I've taken up to the advanced classes at my university, and haven't taken Japanese classes in over 2 years now, but I'm finally going to Japan this summer. The intermediate has gotten me back in the groove and has gotten my listening skills back up (I used to be able to comfortably think in Japanese and speak rather quickly - this is doing a good job of getting me back to that level). I've been doing this for the past 2.5 weeks now and am on lesson 20 or so. I feel that I'm very quickly going to hit the edge of lessons here, so I've slowed down. More content for us advanced listeners!
