How to remember which verbs are trans and which are intransitive when WE'RE speaking, i.e. when no particle is there in print or spoken by someone else to clue us in. I realize that there isn't much of a pattern to the way the words appear so perhaps a dumb song would help? I dunno, I just need some mneumonic devices here.
