Many thanks, Japanese pod 101 was recommended to me by a good friend that already speaks and writes japanese. She said that it was the best value for money, so I decided to try it.

The best choice by far, and I am recommending it to anyone with an interest in japanese. :)

I have paid for the basic subscription two weeks ago, and have downloaded a large amount of podcasts to my ipod.

I am already on lesson 14, listening four to five times each lesson, and talking aloud to get the pronunciation right.

At the weekend I went to Denmark, Mr. Takashi Amano was going to do a seminar there.

Funny enough he stayed at the same hotel as me, so when I saw him in the morning I decided to try my luck and impress my friends. To Mr. Amano I said good morning, nice to meet you, and gave a most perfect introduction. He was surprised at my japanese. :)

I am very happy with japanese pod 101, will stick with it and learn more. Might not get good enough to write in japanese, but will at least be able to hold a conversation.

Many thanks,

Arigato gosaimasu japanesepod101

ps. How do I say Luis in japanese?

Hi Jessi,

I'm not talking about the Lessons Notes PDF. At http://www.japanesepod101.com/learningcenter/reference/hiragana_chart you can see a i u e o etc.. But above there is standing the Japanses characters, right? And those I can't see. I don't know how to give an example of it because I don't know how to e-mail here so I can give an attachment to show what I mean.
