I also need help with adjectives and つもり. The lesson notes didn’t really explain how this works. Also I’m not sure what つもり with a past tense verb means. Does it mean I intended to do or, I’m sure that I did?

Some help with this would be great.

Hello All,

Is it just me, or is the regular audio informal, and the “informal” audio actually more formal. I say this only because in the regular audio the language is using the root form of the verbs (ie aru) and kind of slang like “cho kanashii” or “ii na” where as the “informal” audio is using ~masu, deshita, etc, and language like “tottemo kanashii”… Just throwing that out there. I didn’t see any comments on that above, but if someone already mentioned it, sorry.

Mixing adjectives with tsumori was not clear to me, like in　彼女はきれいなつもりだ。
Why does tsumori changes it’s meaning to “she is convinced that she is pretty”?
Could you please give me more examples?

I’m not sure about the exemple sentence for tsumori but 映画を観る should be 映画を見る, right?

in the vocabulary list you wrote 貰うas “kau” .. is it suppose to be “morau” ?
and the audio in the content question menu is not sync with the question ..
