This lesson is excellent - thank you very much for it. I really like the way you repeat each word and sentence slowly, and then explain them. It's so helpful, but surprisingly rare to find. Keep up the awesome work!

Rainwalkerさん、

Welcome!!

As for your question, I think it all depends on your level and how much time you have.

There are something like 170 Beginner Lessons. And the last ones are pretty much native level Japanese. Season 2 keeps practicing the basic grammar.

If you study for a test like JLPT, maybe season 2 is around level 3. Personally, I think Beginner Season 2 has the most fun lessons - there's enough grammar for the stories to get kind of crazy and you'll get some slang and high level things mixed in from time to time.

A lot of listeners listen to everything, especially if they're following the current lessons. Even if it's too difficult or too easy, you're bound to learn something.

Also, be sure to interact with the community. They're a very valuable resource here!! Lot's of helpful and friendly people! :dogeza:

Hope this helps,

I've just started here at Japanesepod101, and I was wondering when should S2 lessons be learned? Only after I've completed all of the original Beginner lessons, or should they be mixed in with the originals? If the latter, when would be the appropriate time to listen to each lesson?

OK, so 1 question. When do Newbie lessons start? Tomorrow by any chance? I hope so. The Lower Intermediate lesson sounded good yesterday and the Beginner Lesson today was awesome. I hope to see more of these lessons very soon. Good work!

Revision's always good to reinforce things that are a little rusty. I still need more practice hearing numbers correctly at full speed (times and prices mainly).

By the way, is the new lesson line up now:

Monday: Survival Phrases
Tuesday: Lower Intermediate
Wednesday: Beginner Season 2
Thursday: ?
Friday: Intermediate or Video
Saturday: Culture or News
Sunday: Blog
