the expression are confusing to me like S+O+V because the sentences makes the sound more reversed.
so i think i should do a "take notes" so i can use these words to workout my sound effects to pronunce it.

ケリーさん、
Beginner Season 2 is not linear style, and it's designed to reinforce the Japanese you already learned and also introduces slang and well-known dialect forms.. So, it might be a little hard. Beginner Season 4, which is the linear type, might be good for you if you want to learn from the beginning of the beginner level.

行かないことにした　is the sentence structure of "-koto ni suru." You can see the explanation for this grammar here.
http://www.japanesepod101.com/learningcenter/reference/grammar/175

気が変わった literally means "mind changed," so it means "I changed my mind."

Good lesson. I'm trying to start from the beginning, but season one was a little hard to follow. I need some help with the informal... if it was already covered... 　ごめんなさい。

These phrase tripped me up in their construction:

気が変わったわ。

行かないことにした。

...............

ありがとごさいます！

This lesson is excellent - thank you very much for it. I really like the way you repeat each word and sentence slowly, and then explain them. It's so helpful, but surprisingly rare to find. Keep up the awesome work!

Rainwalkerさん、

Welcome!!

As for your question, I think it all depends on your level and how much time you have.

There are something like 170 Beginner Lessons. And the last ones are pretty much native level Japanese. Season 2 keeps practicing the basic grammar.

If you study for a test like JLPT, maybe season 2 is around level 3. Personally, I think Beginner Season 2 has the most fun lessons - there's enough grammar for the stories to get kind of crazy and you'll get some slang and high level things mixed in from time to time.

A lot of listeners listen to everything, especially if they're following the current lessons. Even if it's too difficult or too easy, you're bound to learn something.

Also, be sure to interact with the community. They're a very valuable resource here!! Lot's of helpful and friendly people! :dogeza:

Hope this helps,

I've just started here at Japanesepod101, and I was wondering when should S2 lessons be learned? Only after I've completed all of the original Beginner lessons, or should they be mixed in with the originals? If the latter, when would be the appropriate time to listen to each lesson?
