Mina-san, omatase shimashita! We’d like to thank the everyone involved in making this project so successful! Our community is truly the source of our energy! Arigatou gozaimasu!
Saturday at 10:05 pm
Amazing! But why do you never tell us which is the One!!!
Saturday at 10:14 pm
JockZon-san, because they’re all so good!
But seriously, there’s a reason, and that is…
Saturday at 10:45 pm
「お待たせしました」か。。
まだ待ってるじゃん、ダウンロード中なので楽しみに待ってる。
長そう!
‘omatase shimashita’??!
but I’m still waiting! I’m mid-download so I’m waiting in anticipation!
Seems long (the wait)

JPOD Team!
And, not only were the three guys wonderful, but there were others in the original video (iLove #2) that were fantastic, as well.
Poor Nanase-san — what a diificult choice!
Maybe at last she will choose Junji-san? He has been so patient and encouraging to her and he seems to understand her.
Great video, but the suspense is killing us!!
Also, great vocabulary! Thanks.
Sunday at 12:39 am
Great videos!
They looked great also in iLove#2, but now that I could see the whole videos I must say that Brody-san, Neil-san and Mike-san have done an amazing job.
Congratulations to all the three of them!
And once more, many thanks to JP101 for the great opportunity you gave us to get to know one another!
I feel that all this enhances the fact that we have become a wonderful community, and surely it makes this podcast even more enjoyable.
JP101 team, you are GREAT!!!

ビデオを見て、最後にななせさんは「あの人」と名付けずに終わりにした。
失礼じゃん!人なら名前があるん
Sorry for my poor attempts at casual/slightly rude Japanese XD
Sunday at 6:35 am
じゅんじさんはしつこいなあ。
Neil uses Ovation guitars. Therefore Neil is cool.
I wonder if Mike got compensated for that plug for Wikipedia.
Sunday at 7:51 am
Excellent! JPod101 has always you’re the best # 1 site that has happen to me in my whole life. Thank You for your existence!
Anyway I’ll put myself on her shoes and tell you mina-san which is the one ok! If I where Nanase-san I’ll choose Brody the rock n roll god
because I’m a girl rocker too and I know what he is talking about there. His video was the best and I get identify with him
so Chigusa-san I recommend you choose him. trust me! you won’t regret it to have a boyfriend rocker!
Lastly my second choice would be Nathan-san even do he didn’t sent a video because he works for JPod101 right? I have the same opinion Nanase-san had for brody! “he is handsome and interesting too” ok
Well mina-san Arigatou gozaimasu for your time and see ya!

Sunday at 10:39 am
おもしろいビデオ!ありがとうJapanesePod101. I’ve been studying and living in Japan for 18 months now and its great to have a site like yours to listen to.
As for the choice, I guess we will find out in next one.
Sunday at 12:43 pm
Hi everyone!
JPod Team - Great stuff as always. Congrats to the three finalists - they definitely deserve it. The writers and these cliffhangers though…
Lizさん - Junjiさん already picked you… what are you trying to teach him?
Of course Nanaseさん can’t pick him!
Too much to catch up on - but I’ll get around to it (eventually, hopefully).
Have a great weekend everyone!
Sunday at 1:53 pm
It makes me think how crappy my own video was…
Nice work guys!
Sunday at 4:05 pm
That was a yuge download, but the superb full versions of Brody, Neil & Mike’s entries were worth every minute. Poor Junji doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere though. Maybe we need a competition to see if we can come up with some more successful 口説く文句.
My money’s on Brody-san.
Sunday at 4:19 pm
Opps, that should be 口説き文句. I forgot to use the Base 2 (-masu) stem when glueing the words together.
Sunday at 7:12 pm
Nanase-san, don’t know why you are having trouble picking when my man Yoshi-san is right there. Everybody knows he is the stud-of-choice.
Sunday at 7:14 pm
Uh…I guess I meant Junji-san. heh.
Sunday at 7:14 pm
iLover #4?
What happened to iLover #1-3? I seem to remember something about iLove #1-3…
Well, it’s not a yuuge mistake. After all, JP101 is only yuuman.
Oh, and if this is Video #4, then why was Video #5 back in March?
Is there some kind of time warp going on here?
http://www.japanesepod101.com/2006/03/13/video-5-kanji-closer-up/
Sunday at 9:41 pm
Daniel-san, maybe they’re trying to attrack more listeners/viewers by adding extra letters that make things a little more… Juicy?
Sunday at 10:55 pm
Sølviちゃん、
I think you may be right!
However, I didn’t sign up for THAT KIND of pocast.
BTW, I can help but cracking up each time I see Brody’s video. Especially the 万歳! at the end.
Sunday at 11:50 pm
Rock and Roll Forever!
Monday at 12:11 am
Oh God! We still don’t know who she’s gonna choose. Man… I can’t wait for ILove #5.
Monday at 3:34 am
Wonderful! The suspense is going to korosu me!
Monday at 4:05 am
Me to!
I can’t wait to know, congratulations to Brody-san, Neil-san and Mike-san for the great videos!
Monday at 4:33 am
Yeah Brody Rock Forever! specially Heavy Metal, Black Metal and Dead Metal Scandinavian Connection Rules! You hear Solvi-san and Jockzon!

Monday at 6:23 am
Yeah yeah, we get it. You like Brody.
Monday at 6:45 am
Amazing videos from the 3 lucky finalists. It will be a hard decision to make for Nanase-san. Now it is all about the waiting. Can we bet on the contestants, just to make things more interesting for the community.
Monday at 9:11 am
Fruedian slip?
I feel sorry for Brody’s camera. That must’ve hurt.
Monday at 12:36 pm
Sindy-san,
Thank you for the continued support!
Daniel-san,
Thanks for pointing that out! I’m not sure, but I think Yoshi might have had something to do with that
Monday at 8:33 pm
Nanase-san, I don’t envy your choice. They are all sugoi (スゴイ). Personally, I think you should choose #2. That guy was over the top with his video edits and guitar playing. That was way cool.
Choose wisely Nanase-san.

No don’t listen to Nate-san!
Wednesday at 12:11 am
What’s going on? The finalists are three Americans. I see that this site it’s only for Americans
Wednesday at 1:18 am
Nemehさん、
Was there a non-American video that you thought was particularly good?
ジョン
Wednesday at 1:45 am
Nemeh-san,
I think the videos were chosen on their merits.
(I’m pretty glad my full - length video didn’t make the cut! )
And I think there’s an international audience here.
I can think of listeners and contributers from Korea, Sweden, UK, Norway, Ireland, France, Belgium, Italy, Mexico, Japan, And I’m positive there are many more places I haven’t remembered. I always found the site to be welcoming to all regardless.
I’m not American and I definitely think this site is for me (and anyone else who likes the Japanese language. )
Wednesday at 10:46 pm
Nanase-san is such a tease! Decide already!
I think everyone wants Junji to have his chance too. He deserves it! Anyway, I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
Thursday at 12:40 am
Johnsan
I guess there was not, but I could not see the videos completely
Thursday at 1:19 am
Nemehさん、
Perhaps they will post all the videos at some point. However, I think the ones they chose were among the more interesting ones. Mine was quite dull (talking head only).
But the high percentage of American videos is interesting. I suspect there is a high percentage of the JPOD audience in the USA, but I don’t really know.
You probably already know, but the winner on the female side was American as well. But I think this is just due to Yoshiさん’s love of older women.
In the end, it is all good fun. The point of the exercise was about gettting people to participate, and JPOD did get a lot of participation. I think in that sense, the project was successful. I am greatfully to JPOD for creating this interesting learning environment.
