Mina-san,
Today’s location is ボストン・Bosuton - hello to all of our listeners in Boston! So how do you think our MIXI friends will turn out???
Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!
Has there been a hello to Dallas or, even better, Frisco, TX.
Go BoSox!
Whew!!
I’m glad I was wrong about the MIXI friend being a 73 year old woman!
As to cities, have you said hello to El Paso, Texas, the home of our Vicky?
Wow Liz-san, thank you so much!!! They mentioned Seoul, Korea. That was enough for me. It’s hard to come back after 4 days passed. Got lots of thing to catch up this morning.
It’s raining here today. I think Daniel B-san send over here from Japan.
Love you all guys,
Have a great day!!
PS…our Vicky, I like that alot Liz-san.
Pss…Daniel B-san, I beat you again today.
Me again…ah…so much thing to say~~~
Eran-san, we need to talk about the deal. Please contact me.
Nathan-san, please don’t forget about your mission. If not, I will send somebody over there to do your mission.
For real, gotta go….
I have so much catching up to do still and so little time. You won’t have a vacation soon so I have time to catch up
…
Btw when will there be a hello to Sweden and Stockholm? or maybe Salem my home town!
Ah Vickyちゃん. You like to talk a lot, don’t you
皆さん! Have a great day or evening everybody!
Vickyちゃん、
ちょっと…
What am I supposed to do, wake up at 1 in the morning?
Re: Mixi. Um, I don’t know why you all want to encourage people to go the Mixi. That’ll just take them away from here, no?
Back in a tick. Need some coffee & to listen to the lesson.
Oh, and Nathanさん、 you have been warned. Better listen to our Vickyさん!
-Daniel B
Yoshiさん、
Do you have many opportunities to wear a mask & sunglasses?
Do you wear a black hat with that too?
Of course, if you were as fast as Takaseさん、 you wouldn’t need a disguise. They’d never catch you!
-Daniel B
Shakespeare Takahashi is skating on thin ice with this audience if he wants to emulate W.C. Fields (of whom it was said “Anyone who hates children and dogs can’t be all bad”). On the other hand, the number of Japanese who are actually frightened by dogs is astounding. I’ve even seen parents who admonish their children, 「犬はかむよ」(”Dogs bite, you know”) in the presence of even the most harmless tail-wagging puppies.
Hello again!
Not trying to blur any comment about today’s lesson, but I have something to say. Something sad…
I’m moving to another house tomorrow, and there I will not have neither ASDL connection nor dial-up connection ![]()
I’ll only be able to download the lesson through my friend in the weekend…. So I will not be able to catch-up the comments here. Well.. what should I do?
Well, I hope the best for all of you and you can be sure that I will not give up to study Japanese. Ganbarimashou!
Claudenir
Hi Minasan,
Yoshi-desu! I put a message yesterday about Mixi and got some people in for FREE!
(Well, it’s free anyway!) But if you missed it and still wants to join the Mixi, you can e-mail me at
Daniel B-san,
Peter makes me wear all that in the studio all the time… well enough of that topic (I don’t want Peter-san to get mad…then he’ll make me wear even more stuff in that hot studio
) And you don’t have to get as fast as Takase-san, but if you can be as scary as Takase-san, no one would say anything about what you do
Jpodlove
Yoshi
Yoshi-san!
Thank you for your post!!
I’m a big fan of yours!!
Thanks so much for teaching us Japanese!!
I want to see your picture!
(without a white mask and dark glasses, though) Please??
Oh no Claudenir-san. What we can do to help you? I want you to keep write the comments here. You can’t use from your friends house? If you go to school, there is internet at school as well no??? Or internet cafe??? Library???
I don’t know…..
Ah….what we can do??? Text message me???? Then I do post for you?? I don’t know….
Guys, any a better idea to help her????
yeah Yoshi-san, Liz-san is a big fan of you. She’s always talking about you. Yoshi-san….yoshi-san…blah blah blah….
And, she’ve been asking every where to see your picture.
Would take one and send to her please~~~~
Thanks for emailing me!!!
Hello Liz-san
Thank you for the comment! I didn’t know I had such a wonderful listener and a fan! Peter-san must have kept it quiet so I would just focus on recording.
I’m sure you’ll see my picture sometime soon! I’m just afraid that it’ll turn you down because I just look like a short Japanese version of Brad Pitt (well I wish
) but I really look like a Japanese clown
(and if you were lucky you might see me not only without the mask and sunglasses, but also … oops, (have you been a good girl this year?…
) oh, I forgot this was a public message board. Sorry everyone! Anyways, Thanks for all your support! I’ll talk to you soon.
Jpodlove,
Yoshi
Austin-san!
I need your e-mail address to invite you to Mixi! Please reply to
from your mail account or you can just tell me.
Yoshi

いや。その物はいらん。そして、俺の飼い犬に近づくな。
I didn’t know I had such a wonderful listener and a fan!
はい!よしさんは結構人気者なんですよ。まだ「よしさんバンザイ!ファンクラブ」が作られていないのはかなり驚きます。きっと時間の問題です。
Claudenir-san, I’m sorry to hear about your internet problems.
I hope you can get it straightened out soon.
Yoshi-san,
Your sense of humor is the best thing about you!
You just proved it with that post!
THANKS!
Uh, Lizさん、
Down girl. Aren’t you married?
Yoshiさん、
You’re pretty brave to talk about Takaseさん that way. Better watch out!
Vickyちゃん、
You wrote: Yoshi-san….yoshi-san…blah blah blah….
Ha ha ha.
みんなさん、
You are still invited to come to my blog and post on my JPOD review!!!
Especially you, Takaseさん!!!
-Daniel B
Daniel-B-san,
Yes, I am married!
It doesn’t mean I’m dead, though.:???: I assure you, my interest in Yoshi is purely platonic, even motherly!
Jason-san,
You are testing the patience of us Beginners, but it’s probably a good learning experience for us.
After pasting the text into WWWJDIC I got the idea it was something about a fan club? That it was only a matter of time until a fan club was started? Am I close?
Yoshiさん,
I better warn you. Lizさん seems to be some kind of otaku wife, like those who chase Yongさま!
Well, at least those sunglasses will come in handy!
Nathanさん、
Again with too much information.
Oh, and please take care of your mission, or I will have to carry out my orders from Vickyさん regarding you.
-Daniel B
Motherly???? boy I have a come back for that remark but I’d be banned from further posts.
Lizさん、
Otaku has a few meaning, but in this case, it kinda like “fan”, but bordering on obsesive. In Japan, the last few years, there is a Korean actor that Japanese housewives just LOVE. He’s known as Yongさま。When he comes here, housewives flock around him like teens used to do for the Beatles.
You know, of course, that I’m teasing you!
-Daniel B
Daniel B.-san,
Yes, I know you are teasing me! ![]()
Thanks for the explanation…I am a little bit of an “otaku”, then!
You are testing the patience of us Beginners
That’s my job.

Yep. The “Yoshi-san BANZAI! Fanclub.”
