This lesson uses what appears to be the negative form nakute as in oishikunakute but I cannot recall it previously being explained.

In addition what does “Tada” mean?

If nothing else, you should get familiar with 「さくら、さくら」、「蛍の光」 and 「君が代」. Just take note, to put it politely the other singer has her ups and downs…
