("because of snow, you feel cold, I think.") Other examples: oishii + darou (I think it is tasty) = oishi karou. atsui + darou (I think it is hot) = atsu karou. Formula: select an adjective (..."i"), take off "i", and put "karou." Well, I had someone else answer my first question, so I will post it here.
さむかろう is さむい+かろう,
かろう is somewhat oldfashioned way to say ”だろう”

What is よなかだという　mean? Is it “something called the middle of the night”? I don’t know the function of という in this phrase.
Then what is ふしぎなうたがきこえてきました？ It looks like “strange song came to be hearable”.
