Nixie-san,
Unfortunately I cannot recognize the songs but some Japanese people love foreign singers, like Lady Gaga, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Red Hot chili Peppers, Cold Play, and so on.
Especially songs in English tend to be recognized as cool by young Japanese.
Asian songs are recently getting popular.
I hope this helps.

This was way fun to watch. I found myself chanting with the audience. I do have one question, though: The music in the background during the video, I recognized both songs. Is American music popular in Japan or something? I know for me, music was one of the reason I started wanting to learn Japanese (So I could understand the lyrics to my favorite Jrock song) so it'd be pretty cool if the music I'm use to is popular over there.

I~~~ was born~~ to~~~~ love you (love u love u)~~ With e~~~~very single beat~~ of my heart~~~~ and I~~~~ was born~~ to take care of you~~~~~ e~~very single day~ii~yay~~~ yay~ii~yay...

That was awesome, thanks for the video!! It reminded me of 2 things, one is obviously the tv drama "Pride", and 2nd is the old school Famicom (NES) game Ice Hockey. So yeah, they should've input the code for no goalie and get in massive fights!

I loved the hockey video! As a Canadian living here in Hong Kong, it was the most hockey I'd seen in a while. Brought a tear to my eye.

Thanks very much
