Hi Jaymes,
If you go to MyFlashcards (http://www.japanesepod101.com/learningcenter/flashcards/flashcards), you will be able to add some of these words manually and make flashcards out of them. Click on Create a New Deck, and then search for the words you want to add under Search Flashcards. I hope this helps!

Hi friends! I think there is a little wrong interpretation of the taxis...the doors do not open automatically ....they open mechanically through the mechanism operated by the taxi driver. Automatically would be like the doors in the department stores, that have some kind of sensitive cell that would detect your presence, and opening automatically.

Thank you!

That was really interesting. Unless you read up on it you wouldn't know about the automatic doors. The only place I've ever taken a taxi was in Paris. The door didn't close well, the guy drove extremely fast, I couldn't understand his French at all with the heavy Cambodian accent and I prayed for my life the whole way. I never took a taxi again.

Emiko-san,
We would raise our arm on the street or call a taxi company to pick you up at a certain place.

My expectation was to learn a little vocabulary on the way. It is a bit charming but I can see hockey clips elsewhere no?

Arigato for that neat video, Peter! Are *all* taxis automatic in Japan? Or does that driver have a nice investment for his car?
