Chanuntai-san Konnichi wa! Thanks for posting! We’re working on a browser help section as there will be a lot of Japanese in here!

As for the mistake:
失敗は成功の元です。
Failure is the seed of success!
Other translations welcome. Sakura, Natsuko, wanna help?

avatar Michael says:

I’ve got another one:
失敗は成功の味を引き立てる調味料である
A failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor.

You guys are really awesome. I just found this podcast by mistake but I am so glad that I did! I am totally hooked on these lessons!

Japanesepod ga suki des.

avatar eric says:

hi,

When Sakura read the dialog and Peter translated, Peter may have made a mistake in the translation of one of the sentences:

Sakura reads: Sore wa nan desu ka?
Peter translates: What’s that?

Sakura reads: Kore wa watashi no kaban desu.
Peter translates: That’s my bag.

I just like to point out the error. Because when I was listening to the audio for the first few times I got confused. Until I decided to get the PDF and I confirmed that the audio is different from the transcript only in that part.

But still great work by everyone. I’ve learned so much already though I know I still have a loooong way to go.

Thanks to everyone at Japanesepod01 :dogeza:
